The Cogs of Gods is a dark fantasy novel based in a world around 100 years after a disastrous conflict known as "The War of Damnation" in which most civilizations were destroyed, the educated largely perished, and the Gods themselves disappeared both physically and from the minds of their followers. The story follows a young boy who awakens to find that his memories have been erased and that he is being forced to become a soldier for a fanatical group, known as the COGs, who still worships the Gods despite their knowledge of them being sparse. What follows is a journey of hardship and self-discovery as he befriends a strange girl and is thrust into a conspiracy that centers around escaping the academy no matter the cost. The path towards freedom and happiness is marred with blood and suffering.
